Default What are the affinities of each profession?

For example, the affinities of fire are
water: it puts fire out
air: it makes fire stronger

I know I am not going to get a lot of responses by just asking this question, so I am going to at least to attempt to answer my question. It's all based on attack style

Assassin: Weak against foes who deal damage in respect to assassins armor, strong against a certain foe.
Dervish: Weak against foes who block enchantments, Strong against melee combat
Elementalist: Weak against foes in melee type combat, Strong against groups of foes
Monk: Weak, because monk is always at the center of attention, Strong against providing heal
Necro: Weak against nukers, Strong from numbers of creatures backup
Paragon: Weak due to the damage it can deal, Strong to support allies
Ranger: Weak due to the dameage it can deal, Strong in survival
Ritualist: Weak due to foes primary focus on healers, Strong on getting creature support,
Warrior: Weak due to its limit on energy, Strong due to its armor and damage

assassin: ganking things and running away afterwards
dervish: jam down random buttons and watch things die
ele: cast spells and pray for no interrupts
monk: keep people alive
necro: screw with other people
paragon: shout random obscenities and hope that kills something
ranger: shoot arrows and annoy the shit out of everything around you
ritualist: looking like a fruity bat while running flags
warrior: kill shit by pure manliness

and you forgot mesmer: screw with other people

Stereotypes

Assassin - Wtf-pwn someone then wtf-run before you get wtf-pwned.
Dervish - Grab your Scythe -> put up enchants -> walk into a group -> group dies.
Ele - Nuke everything and hope they don't notice you.
Mesmer - Counter everything and spam a hex with no recharge on the whole enemy team.
Monk - Heal everyone. It doesn't matter how much energy you have left.
Necro - Make enemies less manly by spamming your skills on recharge.
Paragon - Support your team by shouting lame battle quotes and throw a stick.
Ranger - Pew pew bad guys with arrows, interrupt anything bad against you, and block any person that tries to hurt you.
Ritualist - Throw up some spirits and watch them die. Realize it's useless and go run a flag. Occasionally "potting-up".
Warrior - Abuse your free damage and use the non-free stuff to keep people on the ground where they can't do anything but activate stances (define : stance?) and watch you hit them, only to get knocked down again, and again, and again, and again...

these don't sound like affinities to me o__o shouldn't they always involve 2 or more things? i.e. the water->fire example you gave. most of these listing are just generalizations of each class and not their affinity towards other classes.

ranger-> strong ability to snare melee classes (war/sin/derv), strong ability to interrupt caster classes (ele/nec/mes/monk/rit), weak against classes with melee-hate (ele/nec/mes), can have the ability to spike when combined with other rangers on your team.

necro-> strong ability to control physical classes (war/sin/derv/para) through melee-hate and condition control, strong ability to pressure and hinder the healing effectiveness of monks/rits, weak control against other support/offensive caster classes (ele/mes/rit), monk's powerful hex/condition removal skills can lessen the worth of bringing a necro.

I don't think you understand what the word "affinity" means.
